Reuters | Updated On: August 26, 2013 15:58 (IST) Mumbai: The BSE Sensex rose on Monday in a volatile session as IT stocks gained on hopes of better realisations after the rupee resumed its fall following a sharp rise in the previous session. Sesa Goa surged a day ahead of its inclusion in the Sensex. The stock rose 9.57 per cent while Infosys Ltd provisionally ended 1 per cent higher. The BSE Sensex gained 0.21 per cent and the 50-share Nifty ended up 0.09 per cent, marking their third consecutive day of gains.
