Cotton cushion-cover maker Zen Linen on Friday formally started construction work on its new plant coming up at the Sri City special economic zone in Andhra Pradesh. The Chennai-based company manufactures and exports dyed cotton cushion covers, bed spreads, silk cushions and sofa cushions. The plant is being set up on a 4.5-acre plot and is expected to be ready by mid-2015, providing jobs to about 300 people.
